Can somebody tell me how these go in the door on my 31 model A? Or can some one post a picture of these pieces in a stock door. The rubber pieces look way to big to get in the pocket , Is it common to cut the rubber down to fit?

The last set I installed, I ended up cutting the rubber down. If there is a trick to do it hopefully someone will post it. Also your slots in the door are worn quite large.

The total inside height of the boxed enclosure inside the door is only 1 1/2". To keep correct tension on the clips the ***embly as shown in the first pic should be a bit longer than that 1 1/2". After cutting the rubber to size, fit one rubber up and one down and simply push the clip into place by compressing the rubber up or down.

As with all rubber products, use heat to your advantage to make it more pliable for ***embly. Steaming over a kettle will work for those. DSC07135.JPG DSC07133.JPG DSC07131.JPG

It is easy to cut them accurately with a lightly oiled hacksaw in a vise after leaving them in the freezer overnight.
