These and many other thoughts pass through our cranium, some simultaneous with other. Like as I was standing in the check out line, just a few moments ago. The checkout lady, several years my senior, still possesses a younger silhouette. A smile that I’m sure captured the attention of many young men in her day.
Then the lady behind me tells a gentleman behind her to go ahead of her as he has much fewer items.
The gentleman politely thanked her but his voice caught my attention. It reminded my of Chris Kringle from the Santa Clause claymation cartoon of decades past. I turn to look and he has a white beard and a red shirt.
I wonder if providence, fate or just random circumstances.
I drive off as the sun fades. My thoughts num as a Rolling Stones song is playing on the radio.
I’ll never be your beast of burden.

15 years is a long time to live without going out of bounds a little bit.

I’m more shocked by what you classify as ‘weird’ and if this is as weird as it’s ever gotten in 15 years then maybe I will hang out for longer than a week and it’s probably only a matter of time before someone’s emotions produce some harmful and spiteful matter.
I wish I could understand more what you mean by ‘weird’. I’ve already made a few guys angry but they come back to comment about how boring this post is.
I was gonna search for some insight on this whole “Rodders Journal” fiasco but I got seriously got sidetracked with my daughter trying to draw 80,s heavy metal band t shirts.

does anyone remember Jim’s bare metal RPU? This thing upped the bar in the late 90’s? All the way down to the rivets.

I don’t know how long I was a member. There was less than 100 of us for sure in the beginning! I hate to think that a simple post can create such an uptight feeling in one’s chest. But check this out!

 

By weird I meant that this thread when from being about TRJ coming back to writing abilities, world views, and god knows what else. But hey man ramble on.
