  2. You're right, '37 Chevy. '38 is the same except for the grille. Looks like a pretty solid car.

Nope. There’s no way that little touring car was used as log hauler.

  16. I know where that '60-'63 GMC that Maverick Daddy posted is--it's south of Cedartown GA near the Haralson County line on US 27. I retired from Polk and Haralson Counties Department of Family and Children Services, drove by there many times. It's been sitting in the same place 20+ years.

No. The owner wants a ridicolous amount of money for them. They will probably sit and rot for half a decade more before finally being s****ped. Sigh :(

That's the "saw one on Barrett-Jackson go for $$k, I'll make my money now, you make it up when you sell the car." mentality. (I've seen those Craigslist ads like that, too. Really? $30-$40k for a rusted out muscle car shell? Yeah, the car at the auction went for that price because it looked showroom condition.)

Few years ago I found this 47 Lincoln on a 10 acre estate up in Halesite, NY. The owner was an engineer on the original Apollo project at Grumman in Bethpage. He p***ed away and his kids were liquidating the estate. The tow truck driver told me to go make sure the car was safe to be towed. I tried to shut the door and it fell off. Within two hours the whole body was peeled off and sitting in a pile. Here’s what was left. This looks like a lot of stuff around here in Wisconsin. Glad you (or someone) was able to rescue what little was left to be rescued.

I would have bought that whole car just for that steering wheel!

Ouch! Bet that was a beautiful car once upon a time. Looks like you got some good parts from it, though.

Unfortunately many cars have gone to the shredder in the last year. I never thought I would see that with this yard. Notice the empty spaces in the background, those were occupied by cars
