That has to be an LA Roadsters car as Scritch, Sam Conrad and Duane Kofoed had JFS prefixed license plates with JFS 001, 2 and 3. Didn't realize that others in the club got them too. This was in 1966.

Cottons T! In my opinion, the best looking ever. The best part is that it looks good with somebody in the seat. Definitely not a nosebleed car. I'm surprised you don't see more tube framed T's. There was a shop producing tube frames for them, not quite this low back in the late '60's/early '70's. I can't remember which, but they were a name shop on the West coast somewhere. Neat!

Kinda looks like a Toyota hemi to me. My mom had one in her ~72 Corona Mark2. Sold the engine cheap(after it was wreaked when my mom got run off a road) to help out a college friends' mom at his request - who never paid me, & he wouldn't make it right. Found out what his "friendship" was worth. What I don't know, & would like to find out, is iffen the Datson & Toy hemi was the same mill. They do look very similar, esp since I haven't seen them up close for ~ 45 yrs, although for some reason I'm thinking the Datson had deeper grooves in the valve cover (???). They were really decent.

In a '23-'25 size body ,you're fighting for every fraction of an inch of space ,with the motor backset into the body like that ,guy had to be 4' tall !
