Well, I have to admit I simply got nothing done on either car - but I did spend a huge amount of time with about 500 of my closest friends - although I am not ashamed of taking the weekend off - wow what a weekend!

I decided my F-100 needed to go down in the back 1", which was easy right? Yea the lowering part was easy, but the pinion angle was off by a lot, which created a bad vibration of course. I tried to cheat by raising the trans mount 3/4" inch, which required readjusting the shift linkage and throttle linkage, and I gained a whopping 1/2 degree. Almost there, I only need 5 more degrees. I drove it for a while Saturday until I couldn'[t stand the vibes. So Sunday I dropped the rear down, cutoff the perchs, took the grinder and cleaned up the welds, took off three layers of wrist skin, knealed on some hot welding slag, and welded them back on. No more vibes, and the wrist and knee should be better in a few days. Oh, and 1" was just the right amount, too bad I don't have pics after.

Continued stripping the paint off the Plymouth, and broke a bolt off in the top of the fuel tanking trying to get it to stop leaking, (that will help). Also got the underdash installed. Its going to look good. Today I traded one 29 cowl for another. I am not sure I came out ahead or not. But I have an extra gas tank now.

I got about half of my rotisserie built so I got to do some stick welding for the first time in what seems like a hundred years. Welds look like they were done by a first timer too. LOL. Also cleaned up the garage to make room for the Merc so's to keep the ***orted ***holes in the neighborhood andcity hall off my back.

And I moped a LOT about having to cancel my trip to Mokan due to lack-o-bread. Still gonna be moping 'bout missing that for a long while.

I finally cleaned out my garage so its useable again. Between wednesday night when I put 13 BIG bags of trash out. I built a not so mini pyramid with them. Then saturday I did alot of sweeping, cleaned up more misc. stuff and organized what was left. All thats left, is to clean off the work bench. Paint and install the new garage doors. And get 220 run out to the garage for my compressor, heater, and welder. And I'll be in business.

Then I partied all night saturday and helped a friend move sunday.

Well not all done this weekend.Fitted some '46-'48 Chevy tail lights, got a set of bucket seats in place, and got my new Gennie shifter on the C-4,made a couple of mods(better rod ends on the shifter arms) and made a brace for the shifter attaching brackets.Oh yeah started to beat out the wrinkly parts of the body, cut out that ugly dent on the p*** side rear by the tail light. No pic of that though.
