Ive been at it for a while now. As soon as I have enough time to upload a bunch of pics to photobucket ill start a new resto thread. Maybe in the next couple days. Until then here is an updated teaser.
YES please more updates-pics. Like all the above have said, this is a great project with some really cool history, thanks for taking the time to post all the pictures.
NICE! Do a once over and dive that beast! Put side boards on it and go get groceries WITH the wife. Win Win??
I had actually forgotten about this thread since I had started the other for the restoration. I thought I'd throw a few in here for prosperity! It's been a long time coming!
After reading the title of this thread @VA HAMB I get the feeling you’re going to be sleeping on the couch for a while. Just sayin. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Thanks, I have a high res copy of it. Jim's brother Doug gave it to me to scan. This is in their back yard. This is Jim and his brother Doug. The garage is still there. i towed the truck right by it on the way to the show last month.
Jim called the other day and gave me a box with some old Hot Rod Magazines in it. In one I found a 4x5 negative of the truck at Richmond Dragway. I was able to copy it and am very excited to see the image!! Thanks Jim!!
Having heard this thing roar in it's present state I can imagine with those short pipes in the photo posted this morning it was amazing! Looking forward to your discovered photo treasure share!!!
