I was there last year... about a 4 hr drive for me from St. Louis. Neat show but fairly small. Nice group of cars and had a great time in KC. I think
Goodguys KC is the same weekend, so it might be worth the trip.... I'm considering going just b/c I dont have anything else to do over labor day.

I was at the very 1st show when it was only 10cars!
    I went for the 1st 5yrs BUT
the air circulation at the El Torreon sucks ass and so does the f10 foot tall fence they had around the drinking area to Keep underages out and over 21's in.
Hopefully everything has changed this year!
If Todd is in charge then you will see a significant change
I enjoy it, but it has become commercialized, just a warning.
Hit Buzzard Beach for the Brew in Westport
BBlaze on 39th has the best greaser wear in KC
The Crave 1 block from BBlaze has the best damn friggin coffee ever!
I lived in Kansas City until December 2005.
Lemme know if ya need anything

If you dont make it to KC
Hit Tulsa at the BIG car show at Mercury Lounge!
StarkWeather Boys and Bays Brothers are playing Saturday Night!

I will probably go, but still up in the air. It looks like rain and I have sorta' had a bug sneak up on me and kick my butt.
