I believe he may be referring to the Jalopyrama show in Glen Burnie, MD. http://jalopyrama.tripod.com/id3.html
They usually have it in the first week of November. The inside cars are invitation only that consist of traditional hot rods and customs of course.

I am in Ashland, VA. Just north of Richmond. There are some traditional rodders in the area but they are not on the internet. One of them just finished his A model coupe w/ Olds power. It is *****in.

I'll be at the ***berland show with my club. What kind of car do you have? I'll look you up.
They just opened this up to '62 or earlier. I hope this doesn't turn into a pro street TRI 5 chevy extravaganza though. The attendance was dropping so they had to do something.

  7. I am flying up and catching a train into ***berland. So I will probably be in what ever cars my family is running now, nore than likely something mopar. What club are you with and what car will you be running? I will stop by and say hi.

I live in the big city of B***ett, near Martinsville. We are building a couple of rods down here, mainly an Av8 and a channeled 46 chevy truck. gofast62 has a really cool A coupe turned pickemup in Danville you should really see. He's now building an A sedan surf wagon thingy that will be something different.

***berland Md...this weekend. It's a laid back camping event. I wouldn't miss it for anything. It's not a traditional only event but we have fun.

Registration is like $40 or $45. With that you get fed Sat & Sun and during the dance fri, sat & sun night dollar drafts from a beer truck.

Here's some pics from past shows.

    Sorry for the hijack.

Ive seen that neon star, Im up a little from roanoke, in narrows, rather tiny little stain on the map.

  21. I used to run the bodyshop for the now closed Buick store in Salem.
I believe I spoke to ya at Autorama about that *****'n truck you are building. I now live in Mich:( but sure do love VA. That Star on the mountain is cool. There used to be lots of old iron sitt'n in VA - still the case?
BTW: Hey there Mrs Hillbillyhell, The only thing better than a tallented rod builder is one with a really cool wife and partner. He appears to have it made - ya think he knows?
    LOL

I bailed out of Dale City a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. BTW, A good friend of mine and myself were the motivators for the Burger King cruise in Man***as. Had meetings with the management and owners to convince them that a cruise night would be a good thing. Back then I had a black primered, blown '33 Willys. There was a picture of it on the BK wall for a long time. Mike
