I believe he may be referring to the Jalopyrama show in Glen Burnie, MD. http://jalopyrama.tripod.com/id3.html They usually have it in the first week of November. The inside cars are invitation only that consist of traditional hot rods and customs of course.
61cad, is that cl***ic car dealer still there in Winchester? stopped by once years ago on the way to Deep Creek Lake. They had a few decent cars there.
I am in Ashland, VA. Just north of Richmond. There are some traditional rodders in the area but they are not on the internet. One of them just finished his A model coupe w/ Olds power. It is *****in. Justin
I live in the man***as, havent run into anybody yet but i also just joined the hamb. Oh yea im working on a 41 chevy just did a 8" chop and should be making a frame soon to hold the 69 lt1 made into a 383. i also have a 71' bobbed 650 and a bagged s-10 and a bagged ricer (comutercar) with faded black paint and good ole' white walls.
I was born in winchester, do that count? Is anyone heading to the car show thing in ***berland Md this weekend?I'll be there
I'll be at the ***berland show with my club. What kind of car do you have? I'll look you up. They just opened this up to '62 or earlier. I hope this doesn't turn into a pro street TRI 5 chevy extravaganza though. The attendance was dropping so they had to do something.
I am flying up and catching a train into ***berland. So I will probably be in what ever cars my family is running now, nore than likely something mopar. What club are you with and what car will you be running? I will stop by and say hi.
I live in the big city of B***ett, near Martinsville. We are building a couple of rods down here, mainly an Av8 and a channeled 46 chevy truck. gofast62 has a really cool A coupe turned pickemup in Danville you should really see. He's now building an A sedan surf wagon thingy that will be something different.
I'm in woodbridge. there is a nice sized cruise in at burger king in on rt.28 in man***as next to the man***as airport on saturday nights. It'd be nice to see some old **** there. I'm tired of the shiney ****. i plan on taking my truck there once i make a new wooden bed for it.

Not from VA but will be going to ***berland this weekend. Stop by, they keep us in the back out of sight Clark
***berland Md...this weekend. It's a laid back camping event. I wouldn't miss it for anything. It's not a traditional only event but we have fun. Registration is like $40 or $45. With that you get fed Sat & Sun and during the dance fri, sat & sun night dollar drafts from a beer truck. Here's some pics from past shows. Sorry for the hijack. Clark
two your lucky ive never seen one here. oh and lots of stuck up f@ckers. at least theres a couple of real hot rods in this area
I live in Winchester, VA. Currently posting from Kansas on vacation. Allot of you guys are really close, we should definetly get together.
I live here under the neon star in Roanoke too.Knew of some hambers around town but havent met any as of yet.
Ive seen that neon star, Im up a little from roanoke, in narrows, rather tiny little stain on the map.
I used to run the bodyshop for the now closed Buick store in Salem. I believe I spoke to ya at Autorama about that *****'n truck you are building. I now live in Mich but sure do love VA. That Star on the mountain is cool. There used to be lots of old iron sitt'n in VA - still the case? BTW: Hey there Mrs Hillbillyhell, The only thing better than a tallented rod builder is one with a really cool wife and partner. He appears to have it made - ya think he knows? LOL
I bailed out of Dale City a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. BTW, A good friend of mine and myself were the motivators for the Burger King cruise in Man***as. Had meetings with the management and owners to convince them that a cruise night would be a good thing. Back then I had a black primered, blown '33 Willys. There was a picture of it on the BK wall for a long time. Mike
