anyone ever use a double hole tie rod from a jeep for cross steering? I see speedway sells one for $49.00 but a jeep takes a 11/16 th left hand thread , looks the same for $25.00. Need to save bucks these days.

I've looked at them for years but never used one, My brother's C-J that I was always doing repair work on had one back in the late 70's.
Crown automotive makes the one you usually find in from the Jeep trinket vendors Amazon shows it https://www.amazon.com/Crown-Automotive-J0640178-Tie-Rod/dp/B00BA76OH0
This Ebay add has the specs and it does have 11/16 left hand threads. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1749173164...I%3D|ampid:PL_CLK|clp:2563228&epid=1717769696

The other thing on it is I am pretty well positive that the drag link rod end goes in from the front side as the wide part of the taper is on the front if my memory is correct.

I think it offers a little more turning.

The one from Speedway has the hole tapered from both sides.

Make sure and put a steering dampener on it.

If you get one of these, take the boot off and grease it. Then take a little grease and smear it on the inside and outside of the boot before you put it back on. It will soften the rubber and it will have a normal life.
