Bought in August 2018 for $1,750 and never even unwrapped. Had planned to use it in a new build, but that's clearly not going to happen so it's time to let it go. No gears. This was when Derek was still building them and he recommended Winters gears. Not sure if they are still being made or not? Local pickup in the Goleta - Santa Barbara - Ventura area, but can ship, if needed, at cost.
