    The door is probably the best place, but it could also go here.

    Hey, OZ;
    I wouldn't chop the pu more than ~1", but maybe the p-chopping wizards could flatten the roof curve a bit. Headlites sunk into the front sorta like a ~41 chev might help, I'd also like to see a pic of the ~39 ply lights(as mentioned a couple of times) incorporated into the fenders. Getting either in the right place will be the trick. Possibly pulling the hood nose back a little w/a more rounded/leaning back to it, but it'd have to be subtle, or the flow n proportions will look really bad. Might anyways. For some reason, almost all the ~early 40's PUs had some very odd proportions. At least to my eyes. & at the same time, all had some neat design features. Probably easiest just to own the oem looks... :) .

    I'm not much in the way of artistic ability but maybe just the image of the woman on the door and Cheap and Dirty Racing lettered on the side panel above the rear wheel? Just a thought.

    can i see what the above image might look like with a 6x2 dragstar intake with rear facing frogmouth scoops and a different exhaust? maybe a lakes style header and then something like the car below, only instead of the pipe ending at the front of the door, extend it to a turn out about 10 inches in front of the rear tire.. thanks guys.

    You could do it yourself with tape -- and be able to look at it from all kinds of different angles . . .

    Straight outta Rod & Custom, circa 1965. Could be a Tom Daniel design.
