Didn't see him do any big burnouts really.. just what's in the video.. then that exhibition run... but it was still way cool... he shut off way early and coasted to I believe a 13.73...

Thanks for the videos. They and the event were awesome. By the way do you stil have the raw footage of just the engines without music, would like to get a clip of the part with the Morris launching, he's my buddy.

 

yeah I have all the raw footage burned to dvd with no music.... I can make juts a clip of the Morris for ya....

Sorry about the music, it wasn't so annoying when I did it on my laptop...
I could strip the music out or replace it with something else pretty easy....

 

All three videos are great! like reliving it all over again, and again. can't wait for next year already! Rodshop

We have done two burn outs on the tires. Actualy three but the rear end welded the spider gears on the first one as only the left slick broke loose. The next one was at Texas Raceway, I did a thirty foot one then at 86 MPH run in the 1/8. We had 30 lbs.in for that. Bill did a 20 foot or so with 26 LBS.
He missed a shift and only ran 96 MPH. The tires are great and look good to boot. They still have the cast line in the center and just bearaly show that they have been run. Most old timers walk up and spread there hand over the tire and look at me smiling.
A special thanks to Ryan and all the other people who worked so hard for the abreaveated meet and had to shut down early. We had a ball.
