well if they are welded shut the kids can't fall out.right? please don't give me any **** about faking a 2 door.It is a $500.00 beater I bought to cut up.the back doors was rusted through,so a few mods to the body line will take care of that as well as make it look a little less like the rest.it made more sence than trying to save the rear doors.the 3/16 tubing on the 1/4 will also be a slight body line.have to get more pics a little further along.hard to make it out unless you have a good imagenation..

also dropped the headlight bucket to the back of the fender, welded the ring in,rounded the hood corners and tossed a body line on the top of the fender.

lol ..I'm workin' on it.did one side, now I'm on the other side.should have the other corner rounded and the scoops on the hood in a day or so.depends on how the car is parked in the garage as to what I'm working on.I stuffed the 52 in my small garage behind my house that way I can walk outside and work on it for a few hours every night before I crash.when I do the chop on the top I will have to take it back to the big garage so I have some room.

not sure yet .I'm gonna do a radical chop on her so I have to wait and see how the body will flow with the new look of the chop.not going to pie cut it..chop it and pull it forward to give it that smooth look as it follows over the laid down rear window, may even pull the back of the side back door gl*** toward the front a few inches to give the front door gl*** a little more of a showing.
alvin3a the front fender lines was just a thin metal strip welded to the top then ground down til i liked the look . mud was applied with my fingers down the side of it.

    Looks real good.

Have you thought about seats for upfront. I would look at 67-72 chevy blazers seats. They have a low back profile and the p***enger side flips up to allow better access to the back seat. Also you could look for 67 Buddy seats which came with a center jump seat. (Do not know about the p***enger side if it flips up though.) 73 and on Blazer seats had a higher back that may stick out too much. Also, i have some some decent seats for Scouts or International trucks that have a very low back. All these should fit pretty well and have pretty shallow mounting hardware to not set the seat up too high.

Really impressive work. I think the overall look will be killer. I like the low and long look the car will have.
