Somewhere I saw an adapter that straddles a steering arm and bolts to the end in order to shorten the length of a steering arm for a R&P conversion. I know this affects the Ackerman but I'm interested in the source and pics of such an adapter to avoid having to hack up my existing arms or fabricate new.

    Anybody seen these?

This is how someone on HAMB did it on a 50s Plymouth.

What am I looking at? Looks like a stock steering arm with a rod end attached.

They moved the arm back on the bolts, so the front bolt is now thru the rear hole then built a bracket to bolt the rear steering arm bolt thru.

So roughly shortening the arm length throw about 3 to 3-1/2 inches just guessing....

Ok, got it. Novel approach but I'd still like to see the adapters I asked about.
