So I've searched google til my fingers hurt, does anyone still make knobs like this, or am I going to have to do it myself?

@Grimpala : Back in December of ‘21, @Chappy444 put up a thread where he was making some real nice yoyo knobs. @Moriarity and @willys36 have produced some great lucite halves for them also. I have yet to see any poor, much less good ones; being commercially reproduced. My advice is to hawk the fleas; that’s what I did for a lot of years. The going rate used to be about $2.00 a pop, but that’s been awhile! C55807D4-00BC-43F9-B70F-589B45D8B7C7.jpeg

Thanks for the info fellas, I'll keep looking, in the interim I purchased a set of skateboard wheels yesterday to see if they might be able to be turned into the knob ends. I couldn't find resin/acrylic rods with a big enough diameter in the color I was looking for, so we'll give this a shot.

Moriarity sent me a couple of his cutoffs and I got a good proof of concept. Once I can find orange acrylic in 1/2" sheets I'll post the final iteration of my shift knob.

    Thanks again Moriarity! 20220427_210009.jpg

I have to ask: what are the 2 different patterns on a dual pattern shifter?
