After a recent project on the car I realized I had not tightened the valve covers sufficiently. I got oil spots on the hot ceramic headers. Is there any way to clean them off?

Not completely, not that I have found anyway. I have used Mothers or Flitz on a high speed cone and made them look a lot better. Once it baked on it can be a chore.

I have used Mothers mag polish on my coated headers with good results.

As @Thomas K. stated, I've had excellent results with Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish. Apply and rub with a microfiber towel...oil stains will be gone.
