chopping vent windows

    How is everyone chop vent windows? I chop the top on my 50 chevy and ready to get vent windows done. any input would great please post any pictures you might have.

    Go to search, then advanced search, then in keywords type chop vent windows.

    Not sure if it applies to your car, but when I did my '53 Chevy truck vent windows, I realized that keeping the upper pivot / hinge in the factory location will make it easier to install the rubber when done.
    The distance from the bottom bolt/pivot to the upper hinge prolly won't change, even if you've laid the window back.

    I've been able to swap and flip sections from side to side a few times. Top drivers side worked on bottom of curb side etc. Rotten egg is right about the pivot too, the seal on a vent wing is usually a pretty complex hunk of rubber. The slot that the pivot tab goes through is best kept in a factory location if possible. Good luck!
