I’ve got a 1948 GMC truck with 216 ci engine. I want to install an auto transmission TH350. I already found the kit with adapter plate + flex plate 168 tooth + starter.
Do I need to modify the Driveshaft to connect the TH350 to my original Rear End or can I buy another that I can fit directly.
I saw some people on the forum talking about Rear End from 1982 S10 4x4. If I just buy this Drive Shaft is it gone fit directly on the Th350 and the original Rear End Axle of my 1948 GMC truck?

I know this guy has a stick
But another guy asked about automatic adaptors
Buffalo is my neighbor and I work for him part time, I drill his adaptors
His uses a regular SBC starter and is a very slick setup here’s a pic of some adaptors and his phone number
He doesn’t have a computer or even cable t v
Call him up and talk loud he’ll help you out ADE6EB25-A3A5-45A9-887D-F18219592629.png FA23C46F-36E9-4EA1-BEA2-28EC55BA681D.png
