    Hey,
    Got a friend here in NZ heading over to New York and he is looking to see if there are any events he can catch while there, I guess if its within a couple of hours of the city within these dates ? even better if its easly accesable...
    So whats on ??

    Thanks forthat Caffeine,any idea how far it is out to Reading PA ? from drive there is Drags out there, a US meet is pretty impressive for us lot.

    If you're willing to drive a few miles south on #95, the Hot Rod Hoedown is a lot of fun- lots of trad cars, live music, burnout contest, flame-thrower contest, etc. It's in Wilmington, DE on 9 September.

    New York is a big State. Takes about 7 hours to go from the US/Canada border near Buffalo to Manhatten. I ***ume you mean New York City?

    Bear Mountain State Park....Every Wed. night huge cruise . If yer in the City take the George Washington bridge to the Palisades Pky north to Bear Mt. About 40 minutes

    The Goodguys show at Dutcess County Fairgrounds on Rt.9 in Rhinebeck,NY is about 1.5 hours north of the city.That's on Sept. 16 weekend as well as the Bennington,Vt. show. Bennington is about 2 hours north of Rhinebeck on Rt.7 in Pownal,Vt.

    He won't need a car for the Indian Larry Party. A little subway line research or Bus line research and he ought to be able to find his way there. It's just across the river from Lower Manhattan. Straight over the Williamsburg Bridge. The Hoe-Down will be about 2 1/2 hours south of the city. Enjoy NYC. MIKE.
