Seems like everyone I know has a cool, vintage beer fridge in their garage or man cave… except for me.

Well, that all changed over the weekend. Went to an estate auction, and saw this in the garage. Still plugged in and still keeping things cold. After standing outside in the cold rain for hours, they finally moved into the garage. When they got ready to auction off the fridge, the wife says “you’re not going to be able to touch that”. I figured she was probably right, but I ended up only bidding against the s**** guy. No one else wanted it. I bought it for the princely sum of $9!

1939 GE Imperial refrigerator, works perfectly, and it still has the instruction book with it! Works so well that I need to defrost the freezer in it.

I have always wanted one, now I have one. Let’s see what you have.

I have my grandad's kegerator at my barn. I'll try and remember to snap a Pic next time I'm there. I painted it brown and made a giant Newcastle logo for the door and co2 tank when I was in my early 20s. Think is from like 50 something and still works great! Is a ******** energy hog tho! Lol

@showrod That fridge is still looking good, just like I remember it. Good to see no micro-brew IPAs have crept in during my absence. :)
