I had the same problem with my 52'. I still don't have it figured out. I think I took the hardest route possible. I was going to use stock regulators but i dont think they would work. When you get the new gl*** cut the front comes to almost a point and I think it would want to tip forward in the channel with the stock single pivot reg. It needs a regulator with a scissor action or something that keeps the bottom of the gl*** always level, it can pivot with the stock. I hope that explains it. Since I needed that kind of regulator I went searching. I thought I might as well go power too and found a reg. out of a 99 cavilier was what I needed, or so I thought. I did a lot of cutting and fabbin to get it to fit and it still isn't tested. Finding a front channel is hard too. You could probably order another set of back ones from chevy duty and make them work, or look in a junkyard, I don't know where to find these. I had a fabrication shop bend me some u channel out of 18 ga. I think it will work. but it was/is still a lot of work. If I were to do it over I would buy the $90 chrome vent window ***embly from chevy duty or get spal regulators with the center track/motor thing.

    Good Luck

I think if you check it out, 1950 to 1947 don't have any wings, almost the same door as 53 or54. I have a 50 and a 54. 50 to 47 reg and track should work.

The early models don't have wing windows. Just find some of those doors they are the same. Its cheap and those trucks are everywhere.
    Hope that helps

47-50 did not have vent windows , vent windows were introduced in 51, but as someone mentioned above they had a metal frame around them . I had a 50 door and to me it looked like you could take the front chanel out and move it to your door after taking out the vent , cutting a piece out where the window slides up etc.... but it would be easier to find a whole door. The only problem around here is the whole bottom of the door is usually rotted.
