ok, anyone thats been to a paso show recently has probably seen this truck. my girlfrind asked me about it a while ago and i told her it was a local. then just the other day, she said that she found the guys house and had to show me. this pic is of the car infront of the house, and the mural is of the car infront of his own house and his neighbors house. i knew this guy was nuts about his car, hes out on workers comp i think and this is all he does... but is his mind alright...?

i don't mind it, looks well done. i like to keep a low profile though, don't even like people seeing me pull into my garage, but i'm weird like dat.

now what would be really weird is if he had a picture of his car painted on the garage in the mural, and one painted on THAT garage, and one painted on THAT garage, and one painted on THAT garage and so on...

... I think it's cool. though these days the fewer strangers that know you have a cool ride in your garage the better. maybe he should paint himself blowing away some lowlife thief who is attempting to mess with it

The mural looks great but it's kinda like saying "come get her boys...she's right here". Like chromerat said, in so many words....keep it in cognito.;)

If it had to be done, it shoulda been done inside the garage, IMHO. Why piss off the neighbors and beg to have your ride stolen. Just my 2 cents.

To tie it all together he should probably paint a mural of his garage on the car.

he should have a mural on the garage door in the mural,
then a little mural on the garage door in that mural,
then another little mural on the garage door in that mural,
    abidee abidee abidee...

It's kinda like wrapping a gift in paper that advertises what's inside. Wouldn't that be a little anti-climactic when he opens the garage to show you a car? I'm not one to advocate the rule of a home owner's ***ociation either, but that would never fly in my neighborhood, and I must admit, that's a good thing.

PHHTT, that's nothing. I have a friend who's crazy for late model Impalas, he took the back half of a wrecked cab he bought and made it look like it had crashed into his house. He wired the lights so they all work, including the taxi light on top. He even ran his dryer vent out the exhaust pipe.

He averages about 2 fire/police calls a month out there where p***ers by have called in thinking it's the real deal.

Very Nice. The rendering really speaks to me. One word races to front of my mind as I contemplate the artist's message. The word is "****".

    Mural Rule Number 1:

And this goes for lowriders too...

If you paint something in a mural that actually exists in real life (Car, Wife, Kid, Aztec God... Whatever) make sure the Mural doesn't look BETTER than the actual thing...

That picture of the mural and the car is just downright disheartening...

    What truck????

These days all I see are cookie cutter houses with the same SUV in the driveway. Thumbs up to the guy that wants to be a little different. If he did it himself he's a pretty good artist. If he paid to do it then he thinks that makes his home look better... either way at least it shows he cares about his property to some degree.

that is quite recoculus, we all LOVE our cars, but thats a bit much...not to mention i'm sure your hated by all your neighbors, and with a nice car in the garage you want someone on your side when you go away for the weekend...or p***ed out on a shroom trip like that guy...
