Does anyone have any experience with the Allied Supreme wheels? I know there are a few different companies making similar wheels but wasn't sure how these hold up?
Holy Cow they are pricey! HRP Allied Wheel 6747099 Supreme 14 x 7 Wheel, 5x4.5/5x4.75/5x5 by allied wheel $274.99 each
They along with all wheels have gone way up in price..3 years ago that was $149.00 all day long Hell I paid 99.00 for my polished 15” x 5” American TTO’s on the front of my Falcon 3 years ago..
Unfortunately they are the cheapest Supreme style I can find. I have heard some bad things about some of the newer Supreme wheels. Was wondering if Allied is a good or bad one....
Find out if they have spoke support plates welded on them. Old article but a lot of good info about what to look for.http://bekaskailestrek.blogspot.com/2008/08/everything-you-ever-wanted-to-know.html Sounds like he thinks the Allied's are the best of them.
There plenty of good reasons to being a hoarder . Not long ago there were threads on why hoarders should not hold on too their parts . With parts and materials up , up and away plus high shipping now who looks handsome in the mirror
Beautiful looking wheels , but, Admittedly these pictures are 10 years old , but be careful. The rim says made in USA but doesn’t stipulate the centre.
I have bought 2 sets of Unique Supreme wheels because they are direct bolt on and not uni-lug. Been very happy with them. https://www.carlstargroup.com/brands/unique/wheels/product-detail/series-177-super-supreme/
I have been running Allied Wheel Components Supremes on this Two-Ton Tessie for the past 7 years with 0 problems. Well over 30,000 miles in that time frame. You have to love inflation. I bought the wheels AND tires from Rydell Chevrolet back in 2014. Less than $1K out the door, mounted and balanced for the set.
