cyclekart

Has anyone built or has wanted to build a cyclekart? I came across them on youtube and though it would be fun to build one.

Cool, and they look like a bunch of fun but they are not really appropriate here. I saved a bunch of links on these a couple of years ago and yours are stuff I haven't seen yet. Thanks.

I've built one. I kept a blog during the whole process - unfortunately wordpress doesn't seem to have a decent way I know of to collect those links together -- so they are in reverse chronological order. If you keep scrolling to the bottom and keep clicking Previous Entries, eventually you come to the first entry, on March 24, 2009. I eventually finished the kart in July of 2012. (well, still some really minor cosmetic things to do that I will eventually get around to doing.)

There's a forum for cyclekarts (cyclekartclub) and a yahoo mailing list (the latter is not very active since the forum appeared.)

I know this thread is nearly 10 years old, but cyclekarting is grow fast. I use them as part of an after school race team for my shop cl***.... here a photo of all our cyclekart and drift trikes lined up.
