Searching for history

I am a member of The Belleville Gear Jammers based in Belleville IL. Our club has been around since the early 1950's. I am on a hunt for any magazine articles or features on our club as we are going to be celebrating our 70th anniversary next year. So if you guys have any vintage magazines that may mention our club, please post here. I know of a Jan 1959 Hot Rod Magazine feature and our event Midwest Autorama has been featured quite a few times like in Custom Cars Sept. 1959 issue. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

 

I have a large collection of the "Good Books" Im sure I can find you something.

I have that issue. We were their Club of the Month. That last group photo with the members and Tex Smith, The guy painting the line is still active in the club today.
