Found this carb spacer at a garage sale awhile back an was wondering what it was used for. It is aluminum and the bores are 1 5/16" . A couple of friends said marine use or circle track. Just wondering. Thanks , Tom

Certainly it is marine. The engines are put in with the front higher than the back. The reason is that the prop shaft needs to be at about a 10 degree angle. The carb still needs to be level to work properly

Thanks Moriarty. I had a feeling that is what it is for.
