The crossmember to my 33 ford coupe frame is different that my model A. Just to verify the radiator locates on top of the spring channel right? Not the other odd “ear holes” Which are for what?
The tabs in front of the crossmember made sense. I have the same diagram I was confused about “fender stay mount”
They bolt onto the cross member, not visible in the drawing. There are I believe 3 different versions of mounts, and a couple different cross members too I believe. A big thread on the barn about it a few years ago.
Here is my 34 frame which has the stock radiator mounting points in front of the spring mount...The mounts to the rear of the spring is where the stock flathead was mounted

I have a aftermarket aluminum radiator. How does the hood and grill attach to the radiator? And how does the hood attach to the cowl?
The grille mounts to the radiator using 4 brackets, 2 per side. My 34 used these, the 33 is similar. The screw heads slip into the slots that hopefully your radiator came with like these on my radiator The hood attaches to the cowl using this bracket which I believe is the same 32-36, then you hood hinge bar slides over the bracket on the cowl and
Well, NICE model 40 you have there for sure, but think of the money you save by not trying to find 4 good fenders,...that would buy a lot of beer
