Technical 32 Ford 5W Coupe Doors

Are 32 Ford 5W doors interchangeable with Model A doors? If not, please note the differences.

 

No, not even remotely. They are different all over, let alone dimensions.

 

As X38 said nothing in common that Im aware of.

 

Model A doors barely interchange with Model As!

 

Just look at pictures of both and that should tell you right away.

40 plus years ago in trade school, our teacher was a 40 something bit of a hot rodder. We were lucky to have him. Among the projects we took on was flush fitting a pair of Model A coupe doors. I think it took us a few days each, even with his help. That said, it brought that car more to resemble a 32 than any other mod we did. The 32 shell and flush doors looked good.
