Technical 8BA heads

Looking for heads for my 8BA. Eldebrock heads go for about $850. Offy heads are about $1500. There must be something going on that I do not understand. Can someone please explain the difference.

That doesn't sound like a good business model.

 

No but it works. Mike Jr has a wealth of knowledge on old engines, flatheads especially. His patience may be on the thin side but I trust what he tells me and I run what he sells me. I'll take him any day over some polite, patient ***** selling me the wrong parts and wasting my time. So really, it is a perfectly good business model.

 

Yup, my Navarro heads from H&H are on backorder too.
