    Very nice.. I think you really nailed the proportions.... can't wait to see the fenders on... I ended up with 36 Chevy Master fenders in FG that I felt had a similar flow to my front fenders....

    More progress, Lance Rice and the crew at Rice Performance have the bed running boards roughed out.

    https://duallyproz.com/ milled the 16.5" rear rims to accept 16" tires. The aggressive Interco rear tires have been replaced with a highway style tread to better match the fronts.

    Next steps include lengthening the rear fenders, boxing the running boards.
    Paint is getting closer.

    I bought it this way;

    [IMG]

    Ch***is is a late 80s Chevrolet 3/4 ton van (G30).
    350 SBC engine and Turbo 400 trans.
    Steering box looks to be a GM unit mounted vertically?

    That's the ch***is I've been seriously contemplating solely for the purpose of simplified steering. The ch***is is the same width in front as the original COE frame and the steering box is in an ideal spot. How about engine fit - does it fit in the doghouse ??

    Do you know if that ch***is has been narrowed at all? I'm concerned the front track would been too wide.
