Well folks, the 2022 date is finally set! Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 25th, and join us for the All Deuce Run to Blowing Rock! This will be the 21st year we’ve made this run! Photo is courtesy Tom H***ell (seadog) As always, we will head out from the Target Shopping Center in Cornelius, located on the NE corner of I-77 & Hwy 73 (Exit 25 off I-77), at 10:00 sharp. We’ll make a stop at a scenic overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway to stretch our legs, check out each others’ Deuces, and have the opportunity to take some really great photos of our rides against the panoramic backdrop of the Smoky Mountains. Next we're off to Blowing Rock for lunch. This year, we'll be eating at Wheelie’s Refresher (formerly Canyon’s). They’ve requested a head count of those planning to attend. This is very important, so please send me a conversation and let me know names & numbers as soon as you can. For those who like to make a weekend trip, we’re planning on a 7:00 PM dinner at Lancaster’s BBQ on Friday night. The effects of the pandemic continues to cause wait staff shortages everywhere and Lancaster's is no exception; a rough head count will certainly help them better serve our party on a bustling Friday night, so let me know if you plan to have dinner with us on the 24th too. I will be sending information to all the people on the All Deuce Run Email list in the next few days. Let me know if you'd like to be added to that mailing or if you know someone who should be! Guys, gas is expensive right now but I can’t think of a better reason to run through a tank or two!
