Since I now own this bike, I was just getting curious. I miss riding my hardtailed 60 Sportster. Will the 750 kit fit? Any other kit easily adaptable? Besides thinking it's cool, I also want a lower seat cuz I'm short. I lowered bikes in the past with shorter shocks. Easy to do and there is a bike salvage place right in town, but I want it hard baby (did I say that out loud? :) ). sorry, I haven't taken pics yet.

If this bike is in near stock condition they are very desirable to collectors. It might pay to ebay it and use the proceeds to go after another bike.

Well, I've always liked the 4 banger Hondas, and it is already purple. I prefer the smaller bikes, I don't want to speed, just cruise. It's mostly stock, but would it get enough on ebay to get another bike I like?

Thanks for the link to the home job, it looks easier than I thought.

I'm not doing it right away. I gonna ride for a while cuz it's been too long since my last running bike.

Just for a little old Honda? There are people crazier than I. :D

  9. I agree with gasman. Everything for this bike will have to be fabricated. The short shock deal gets my vote. Then when you're done, you still have something to sell and move on to the next project.

The Hondas are supposed to be rare under 500 cubes in the 4 cylinders. For what it's worth I agree with the other folks here if its reasonably comp0lete I'd sell itand pick up a bigger bore bike to chop bigger hondas around here in my area are haul away bikes I have 2 650sand a 750 and getting several more soon.I know of only 1 350-4 in this area in 40 years and the guy who owns it needs carbs pretty bad

  11. There was a nice one of these at the primer nats that was converted and they were selling it for 1500.00

I checked egay and saw perfect ones going for over $2000. This one isn't 100%, the paint is the biggest thing. I looked at some more bikes last night, one almost complete, the others almost bare frames. Different models, no titles and all free. One is a yamaha 3 cylinder, complete engine in an othrewise bare frame. I do have a couple of nice tanks and some unfinished girder forks. I know were other bikes parts are for free too. My wife is gonna kill me :D

The power of Google once again. It drags out ancient H.A.M.B. threads quicker than you can say "off topic".
