Recent show for the Sherrifs boosters, over 200 cars. I got first place in the Full Custom category! What a cool day and even cooler that the Sherrifs liked the car as they were also judging.
I really liked it, but Slddnmatt had already taken a deposit, so I missed out on it. Some guy bought it for his wife, put a huge consol in it, with cup holders and it just sits in the garage. Haven't seen it in about 20yrs.
A future barn find you just can't give a car like that to someone there is a loss of appreciation I see it so many times this , " Oh I'll get another one " mentality or not being taught how to maintain and really enjoy the ride . " My gal has a 1954 Bug hasn't seen daylight in 24 years . I'm on her constantly and my hands are tied it's in HER garage ! So be it ...
