Hot Rods 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Muncie 318 speedometer worm gear

Hi All,
Does anyone know where to source the tail shaft speedometer worm gear for a 1955 Chevy Truck Muncie 318 transmission. Or a part number would be helpful too.

but that might not be what you really want. The gear on the output shaft is the worm gear. The gear that goes in the hole is the driven gear, and there's also a sleeve that it fits into.

4.337 is the group number for both gears. Follow the link in Johnny's post above, and see what you can find.

It’s the worm gear on the output shaft that is needed, he drive gear and housing are in good shape.
