You do realise Australia and New Zealand are different countries?
I have used Kiwi Shipping in LA, all good. They have been doing it for years. Steve Curle the manager is a kiwi.

I do. But they seems to know to get stuff down to themselves. Be a bit more humble and open minded.

If you havent got a quote yet be prepared for a huge shock. The cost to ship containers has skyrocketed in the last year. What was costing $4500 a year ago is now $35,000.

I don't know if Pasha is on your list, but if they are, we recently had great service at a great price while shipping with them. I'd use them again ...

John......there used to be a guy in Dewitt that shipped tractors, motorcycles, old cars anywhere in the world. I sold a 27T roadster body to a guy in Germany. I delivered it to Dewitt and the buyer paid for crating and shipping. I think the guy also sent containers of John Deere lawn and garden tractors also. I have been looking and cannot find his card. A google search doesn't give me anything either. I will keep looking.
Also......I sold some vintage sprint and midget parts to guys in NZ and they just had me ship to Indianapolis and they were squeezed into containers with new sprint and midget ch***is and parts going to NZ which has lots of dirt racing. Good luck

From the man who lives there and has done it from that end, That is the advice I'd follow first.

I'd venture to agree with the prepare for sticker shock though. That might be a deal breaker overall.

If you don't require a complete container (a 40 footer will take 4 cars) then you should be able to consolidate a load and pay a percentage of the freight costs. I have done this with Kiwi Shipping.

You could also try CFR line. Paul is a member here @55olds88 I think is his user name.

Yes I agree with Rckt98, I have bought 3 vehicles to New Zealand from the USA in the last 10 years all with Paul at CFR Line, great service, reliable and honest!

I spoke to Kiwi Shipping the other year in relation to having a vehicle shipped from LA to NZ and then later shipped to Australia. At that time it wasn't an issue however world wide freight prices including containers have exploded. Then there are the ridiculous delays with getting containers packed, customs clearance at both end etc and onto the water and unloaded here. A friend of a friend recently has his container of cars/parts pulled aside by US Customs for a random search. He then had to pay for the inconvenience and shipping delay as well as the unpacking and repacking and then explain this to customers and p*** on the additional costs!

I have used Kiwi Shipping twice with good results, Steve Curle is an old mate and is very straight up. He is also a good ol' car guy. JW
