  4. follow your body lines. or start your own. 2 tone er.

  5. Okay, I'll take the wagon for the question. The answer is Seafoam Bluegreen, wide whites, chrome wheels, chrome roof rack with one or two red surfboards, one of those old style wicker picnic baskets in the cargo area & one nice looking babe in high heels in a nice fitting bikini...hey, get this surf wagon done soon!:D Gary 4T950 Chevy Guy

I was thinking on putting on that Buick trim that cuts the qtr half of the car up to 2 tone it. Maybe add them Buick portholes to the hood, throw in some '60 0lds taillights. This would all be for the wagon. Make it look totally different. Now the coupe, I was looking at a mild custom as in the taillights, flake the roof or maybe 2 tone it like it was stock, it is already chopped but needs to be finished up. KNUX!

I will comment about the wagon.. since I really like them.

get rid of the black primer. I think wagons look good in two tone. light color roof with a darker body.. go find some other color.. if you can only rattle can it, go down to Lowes or Home depot and find some of their Satin colors. Find something to fill the grill opening. even if it is expanded metal with door pulls. you need more shine on the front. A buddy did his wagon in a pale green and light tan.. worked well. mine is in red.. lots of options.. just not black.. and spend some money and have the wheels painted nice or powder coated. if you know someone with a paint gun, spray the roof a nice gloss color..

i agree, two tone the wagon with light colors. the buick trim idea sounds pretty cool to me. i like anything out of the norm. the choptop you should forget about, its a lost cause. just tow it to my house and i'll take it off your hands for free.;)

They used that same body shell in Australia for a long time. See if you can get a hold of someone in Australia to look for an Australian DeSoto grille for you, it'll bolt onto that car and they're really cool, something you don't see in the states much.

I agree about the side trim. Not only for a two-tone paint break, but to add a feature that runs the length of the car. This should make the wagon look a little sleeker.

Maybe a thin floating grille bar centered in the opening would look good.

    Two really nice cars!

To all that have posted their comments....thank you! The wagon is just in black primer temporary till I get the body work done, and it needs alot!!!!!!!!!! I will 2 tone it w/ the buick trim and I am going to float a grill in the front to fill the gap( I should have kept the Olds grill that I sold lownslow) F---------------k!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe. I am going to paint the wheels a persimmon color w/ the Merc dog dish caps that I have had in boxes the past 3 years. I was also going to maqke it a Ragtop just to be a little different and flake the rest of the roof BAD AZZZ BLUE using a Bahama Blue Ford as a base w/ maybe flaked silver scallops on both sides of the roof front corners. I also have '60 Olds taillight lenses that I want to french in and the last thing, slam it w/air rides!!!!!!!!!!!!! KNUX!

for the '54 olds instead of '60 taillights have you thought about '57 chevy lights and angle them down a bit? i like the idea of the buick trim for the wagon it should fit nicely. tan on top with orange bottom, and tan interior. also if you buy the portholes and decide not to use them let me know i want some for my '53 chevy truck.

Yes. I have seen that one in magazines. That is a pre-'53-'54 Plymouth wagon. I think the trim is all airbrushed on. Don't care fro the pastel that he has. KNUX!
