I have finally straightened the shop I have been working on it for over a week.
The cement floor is still there and the cars will fit once again.

Sumpin' similar happened to me this week. I got a new electrical meter and it took the power company three days to hook the power back up. With no power for tools, all I could do was pick up the place and sweep the floor. It looks so damn nice I'm afraid to go back in there.!
Your place looks awesome... you can come clean my shop anytime....

That shop is absolutely sick, man! Put a plasma on the wall and throw a sofa in there somewhere and I could live there!

  6. Congrats to you, but I can't work somewhere that clean.:)

You are sick... You need help. I just changed the p***word on my computer so my wife won't see this. I'm not sure I can ever clean mine out.

I once answered an ad for a motorsickle and went to the guy's house to take a look at it. He said it was in his (Single stall detached) garage. He opened the door and boxes of junk fell out onto the driveway. The garage was packed solid. I asked him... how far back in there is the bike... he said about halfway. We started unloading boxes and other **** out of there. I pulled one box out and there was a fender with a headlight looking out at me. It looked really familiar. I asked.. is that a 57 Chevy? Yup... a convertable. we kept pulling stuff out and sure enough that's what it was....

We finally got to the bike... I asked him if he wanted to sell the car... he said no... he was going to keep it for his son. A little before that he told me he had never been married and had no kids. He looked to be about 60ish to me. He better get busy...

must be the weather....I went and picked up a nascar style snap on tool box (one of the big ones) that a buddy of mine found but didnt have the cash for ($400 beats the heck out of my bashed and crashed box I pulled out of the trash 8 years ago) and realized it wouldnt fit in my garage without some cleanin (two car garage with only enough space for one car type deal) hadda do some cleanin and get rid (read trash bin) of all the fix it projects that have been sitting for a year or more...I can actually move around in there now, amazing! Unfortunatly I have no clue where anything is now

  15. When did they start putting floors in shops? I thought the interlocking parts I walked on was a floor

what a coincidence....we are expecting garage visitors next weekend, so I've been cleaning and painting and doing yardwork and all that. The new garage is looking ok (it's only a year old), but the shop still has a long ways to go. I did find part of the floor....still quite a bit mia
