Yes we moved out of Sevierville T N it was just getting to crowded and the traffic was horrible all day long We found a nice quite town with little traffic and no crowds. We are just about on the sound and a hour and a have from the outer banks of N C. (I didn’t want to live on the beach due to storms) and now I have about a 6 car garage (which I may ask some questions from you all about setting it up) Hope to post more pictures of H A M B friendly car and trucks. You all have a GOOD weekend. P S I am going to try and post a picture of my new shop.
Hi Bruce, its good to see you back. That big garage looks cool, but you got to keep an eye on it, big garages tend to collect a bunch of stuff, and then you can't even get a car in them. Gene
Nice shop! As Gene said big spaces attract all sorts of junk, so call it a workshop, not a garage. Rule #1; Car and tool related items only. Furniture storage, yard machines, camping gear, Christmas decorations all go in the basement, attic or yard shed (don't have one? Build one)! Check out garage journal for plenty of shop set up ideas!
X2 on hitting up www.garagejournal.com for more ideas and help than you can find for your new garage.
good to see your post!! Nice garage. Hope you enjoy your new location and find the wagon of your dreams soon!!
@Hot Rods Ta Hell .... You wouldn't last one week with my wife! The garage is "community property" in her eyes! I don't complain because I like my balls intact!!!
My garage is community property as well, I let her park her car in there if I don't need that space for something else. Other then her car, nothing gets into the garage without my consent. The garage is MY space. We made take agreement early in our marriage, before we even had a garage. The day I started renting one, car parts didn't go into the house, and house stuff didn't go into the garage. That other stuff of hers went on the back porch, where the car parts used to be. Been that way for 46 years now, and still counting.
Loveoftiki is not the way it used to be. It’s very crowded and hard to find a fishing place to your self any moreThats why I moved to Edenton the big river empty’s in to the Abrmarl sound and I plan fishing it instead of the crowded beach.
Hot rods you are RIGHT almost 1/4 of the shop is full of Christmas totes and my mother in laws stuff( yes she moved down with us that was the deal) LOL. Definitely going to get a shed so I can get my part of the shower back!
Glad to see you're still at it, Bruce! Wise man say: When you build a garage, build big. Because they only get smaller. When you get married, marry a small woman...
You wouldn’t know it now $50 to drive you truck to your fishing spot and you are almost shoulder fishing with other people not like it used to be in the 70s and 80s
Yeah I saw the developers going crazy down there..we always stayed on Hatteras Island..they tore down Resort Rodanthe and put up a bunch of pastel beach McMansions…still have the luxury of “airing down” and driving to your own slice of ocean if ya want though
