Technical 32 ford headlight bar

Could someone tell e the length of a 32 ford headlight bar is it shorter than a model a one

 

There are different lengths, a search will tell you, I Believe 28-29 , 30-31 then a 32

 

Just measured my stock 32 bar. I measured the underside following the curve from where the bar meets the mounting to where the bar meets the opposite mount. 40-1/2 inches.

 

Here's what I did-----Took a crashed stock bar ---cut the ends off about 4 inches from flange mount.
took my old stock bar & traced it on floor with soapstone to get the correct arch. heated 3/4 round stock steel to match the arch, then heat & bend remainder up to meet the flanges, then welded headlight mounts to bar, grinded all welds & had it chromed.--------Don

 

Could you give me a measurement from the top of the mounting flange to top of other side flange

 

Yes 32 shorter
Model A 30-31 is
43 across top
38-3/4 across bottom

32 bar is 42 top
37-1/2 bottom
