    signal stat 900 question
I have a signal stat 900 in my 52 Chevy truck I’m wiring up my truck with a EZ wire 12 circuit harness I have all the lights working as they should except the right indicator light on the signal switch won’t flash or light up when switch is up for right turn left and hazard light lights up just fine. I tried every combination possible tried a jumper wire got it to light up but both front blinkers were on as if I had the hazard switch pulled out
Ez wire LF (LT Blue) signal stat (Green)
    RF (Blue). (Red)
    Turn flasher (purple). (Yellow)
    LR brake/turn (Yellow) (Grey)
    RR brake/turn (Green) (Black)
Brake switch. (White) (grey w/black stripe
And a jumper wire from Blue pilot wire from signal switch to left blinker wire
Any suggestions would be very helpful

  2. I just last week installed a 900 signal stat ***m. on my 32 and it would not light the left brake light I spent some time taking the switch apart and one connection on the slider switches was broken. Take the covers off and have a look.

Did you try a ground wire instead of relying on the unit to ground on the column ?

  5. If the light is built-in to the switch, you have a bad internal contact. Post 2 had it right....

Is it really that necessary to have an in cab light that you need that big ol thing ?
I mean the lights in the unit itself are not that obvious, especially if the spoke of your steering wheel is blocking the view of it, what is obvious is the signal arm either sticking up or down, letting you know you need to return it to neutral.
If you Google signal stat 900 several HAMB discussions will pop up, a couple being my own, maybe read those and it'll help you to sort out the wiring issue.

What is the correct flasher to use with the 900 for p*** car/truck applications?

A three pin flasher that will work with the number of lights you have should be fine though.

something like the Grote 44110 that triggers off as little as .25 amps might be a better one if you have all LED lights or just single front and rear lights. Grote_2012_Catalog_Flashers-and-Turn-Signal-Switches.pdf Te 44110 isn't cheap though.

Doing some after fact homework showed that the flasher I posted and deleted was designed for ten or more LED lights on a semi.
