I heard there are frame bolted 59A flathead motor mounts ( this is the part rubber is on )
So instead weld the mount it can be bolted ex in the damper mounts ( 32 frame )
-Ideas what year Ford used it at ?

Hurst mtr mt2 .jpg You are probably thinking of the aftermarket frame adapters sold by Hurst and others. Please see item A-28 in the upper left of the attached catalog page. This is from a very old catalog, but other folks still make them.

I saw Speedway sold a bolt on kit ( almost as the Hurst you showed ) but the one I think of was from Henry in era late 30's to late 40's.

I think you’ve been told wrong. I can’t picture any motor mount that Henry bolted to the frame.

Edsel Ford may have had an early flathead into a Model A vision. Bet Henry said "NOOOO."

Here is a way to bolt a 59a block to a `32 frame.

Ah. I thought he meant the mount on the frame.

Note. I did meant mount in frame and a pump with mount.
Then the bracket bolted to frame ( thst I thought I heard was to a Ford )

I will use a 32 front cross and this is how the mount the 32-36 V8. ( picture above )
-So its possible to install the early engine mounts on a 1946 59A, but the pump has a engine mount on but now I see there are pumps less mounts to frame.

Why is so few use the 59A engine on s 32 frame and not use the dtd engine mounts ?
    Neat idea.

I thought about it but did not think the 59A had place to mount the early mounts on front of block ( pumps on block )

Most guys use the mounts on the water pumps because they have a wider stance, and better protection against engine rotation. And, every pump has them built in.

Those 32 front mounts will bolt right on all later flathead blocks. You can cut the legs off the pumps if you want to. But be aware the 32 mounts are really pricey for the good ones. I would make sure to buy originals, not repros that are cast. Henry's were forged.

I built my own for my 34. I designed my flatty to drop out the bottom of the car for service rather than removing the front sheet metal, radiator and grille.

I made them a bit stout since I didn't really know what I was doing. Polished stainless is my material of choice.
I welded in threaded 3 bungs through the boxed frame rails on each side to secure them.

It would be easy enough to make a set that utilizes your shock mount holes.

Al M****line (Santa Clara, CA) built a '32 highboy roadster in '53, he was 10 years older than me. (I was 11)
I asked lots of 'intelligent questions', so was invited to 'ride along' frequently.
The Deuce had an original front crossmember, with the '32 type mounts attached there.
Mid 1955, Al had blown up his 'last' flathead (276" record holder, 103 MPH @ San Jose strip, "Little Bonneville".
He bought a wrecked '55 Chevy 4 dr. and used the 265, and an adapter to the '39 box.
He showed me it was a "Bolt-In", by using the forged '32 mounts on the four 3/8" tapped holes on the Chevy engine!
I believed him when he told me that GM had this planned, SBCs would be a 'bolt-in' replacement for the Ford/Merc flatheads!
Hey...the tapped holes were in the same location as the Flathead...

I would be fine with the 32 mounts and as I will use the 32 cross it would be cool but I heard they are pricy.
I will try ask this guy that that told me used Henrys bolts on.
It was cast or forged and bolted ( he said )
    Se picture.

To has the mounts sideways to frame will shore be better but I will has a std non boxed frame, std 32 bones front and 41 bones back and no real power in engine.
