I brough home another 1930 Model A roadster yesterday and today I'm going back for another ch***is and a 1931 Model A cowl and another pile of Model A stuff. I think that my wife thinks that I'm trying to corner the market on this stuff.
That's good stuff, buy all of it you can. Do you tell wife what it's worth or not ? Kind of a toss up. Here's one for you - I had a set of 70 LS6 heads that I kept in the house in spare room closet. Wife kept asking why the hell we had car parts in the spare bedroom. I sold them as was packaging them up and she asked why I was spending so much time. "They guy that paid $1000 for them doesn't want them damaged" next time she was in the garage, she started pointing to stuff on the shelf - what is that - how much is that
Actually I didn't have enough in my play fund to buy it so I had to borrow some from her so she knows exactly what I've got in it and she probably has as good of idea what it's worth as I do. I've been buying model A bodies for 30+ years and other than a couple that I let friends buy from me I still have the rest.
