WONDER HOW MANY OF THESE WERE SOLD? I AM 78 AND HAVE SEEN ONE, AT THE DEALER..... Never saw it again,

 

by looking at the billboard these cars were probably "saved".

 

Redondo Beach 1950s

 

They made 285,000+ cars and had there not been a production interruption due to a parts shortage probably would have made 300,000. That was a pretty successful year. Lots of people bought the new GM cars in '59 including us with an Olds and a Cad. Pontiac's wide-track was a big hit as well.
