My Passion for cars has never changed, but what I was in love with changed with age/time. The McMullin roadster in Hot Rod Magazine 1966 was in my mind for years and finally a roadster 30 years later, owned, enjoyed 8 years, went to a 32 3 window 8 years then a mild kustom 51 mercury 8 years, So I have owned my bucket list cars, now enjoying my OT bucket list cars, Camaro ragtop, Dodge magnum RT which I purchased new when still had the other cars. I also owned my dream racers, Midgets and Sprint cars, as a kid my avatar was my dream ride. I worked hard, played hard, now old with the typical BS that comes with age and can say No Regrets, I'm a lucky man. A few pics, more pics in my albums of the cars I listed, exception OT's. This car hobby/passion has served me well 29roadsterflat black.jpg 32ford.jpg 51mercury.JPG

  2. Getting the car you were most "Nuts" for as a 13 year old kid will help you hold on to it. The next car "wants" will get you in trouble. I sold my 53 Buick Skylark to buy a Cord 810. Mercy Me!

I've been obsessed with Rods & Customs since I was a little kid... but I can be fickle when it comes to cars... maybe it's O.C.D., but I'll lust after one, then another one catches my eye and I'm droolin' over it. They come and some of them go.
I always wanted a Deuce coupe... I had one for a short while, but the flame flicked and it's gone now. I've always wanted a '39/'40 Ford coupe... now that I have one I don't see my ever get rid of it, but I'm still lookin' for the next "victim of my imagination". 38 Ford cleaned.JPG Cool Garage 2016.JPG IMG_1985.JPG 56 Stude - 52 Packard.JPG IMG_0458.JPG Hmmm... what's next? Maybe a "Gasser" style Studebaker... further developments to follow...

  5. I fell in love with my avatar the minute I saw it ( I was addicted, hooked that is) having helped my dad build it it’ll be a cold day in hell before I get rid of it ( sell that is) . When I look at it I see all the hard work my dad put in to get it running and on the road.

I watched a fun toy (that was a lot of work) get loaded up and head to a nice guy on the east coast. It was one of two trucks that went away in a month so my Bride and I could get away from washington state and move to Texas. It was worth it
