    Thanks for the "before" photos. I would like to see the restoration pics of the car as well. It will be interesting to see how much of the original race car is left after all it's been through.

    In , I THINK, the 6th picture from the top the front sure looks like a '70 Camaro. At least to me it does. I'd bet on the Halibrands having a name stamped in the back.

    Everyone to their own taste, but it would, in retrospect, have been a much better idea to be a little less "original" here. That said, there's actually a just-as-"valuable" couple of Corvettes out there: Dave MacDonald's 1957 and 1962 "Double Zero" cars, which were the scourge of West Coast A Production racing until the advent of the Cobra - which Dave also drove. All of his other cars have been accounted for - but not the '57 or '62......

    That car is a prime example of just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
