    The Coupe is right out of an early 70's Rod Run. Jeez, that's a 50 year old 'survivor' of that era. Makes me feel old!

    20220501_133737[1].jpg got the disk brakes,spare tire mount , bumpers & orange pinstripe tape 20220501_134158[1].jpg off different wheels and an al***ude adjustment. hopefully got the axle set for caster next some smaller headlights 20220501_134229[1].jpg not done but got it together enough to get it outside and get a look

    Thats a clean car, agree - old builds used better cars to start with - they wouldn't have touched the stuff we're using today.
    I like the 70s vibe, if you're keeping the yellow and brown, consider keeping the wheels and go full 70's rod run car, there were some great cars built prior to the 80s easter egg monochrome era.
    If you want to change it up black fenders would be an easy way.

    Great ride, keep posting up as you turn it into your own. Put some miles on it :D

    Tim, here is my old Vicky that was a 70's build. Note the similar color fenders with Champaign body color:
