    Probably was for European market, and was imported in to USA many decades later.

    At that time in Italy, I think there had been no standardisation to left hand drive. Right hand drive probably would not have been uncommon. (I don't know what the ration of RHDs to LHDs would have been.)

    Yes, what a car. Ford, V8, sidevalve and Euro styling. You could drive that to just about any event.
