Those of you running the baby Hemi, would you show your motor mount setups. On my block there’s no bosses for mounting side motor mounts so Ill have run a cradle mount. Trying to get some ideas.

Ya just have to get creative. It's bolted solid to the pump housing and rubber mounts at the ch***is end. The bolts on each side on center of the bottom pully have spacers behind them to the block to stop forward flex movement with Clutch activation. Very simple, very easy.

I would try to incorporate the stock "floating power" engine mounting system, it is a stamped steel "A" member that attaches to a boss just below the water pump.

Hot Heads has a cradle mount that would work however I have a 88 Dakota clip so there’s a significant gap between the frame rails

^^^^I have a 241 and if the day ever comes for me to put it to use, the cradle style mount is the way I believe I would go. I am of the opinion that the bracket/cradle would have to have spacers on the back side to leave the flanged lip of the timing cover intact and not grind or flatten out any reinforcement lip it might have.

The Hot Heads plate is similar to the Hurst. Maybe a copy?

I don’t recommend using just the timing chain cover bolts to hold the motor up if your using the Hurst style mount and the stock water pump housing I would include the water pump mounting pad into the Hurst motor mount image.jpg

I also made a cradle mount. It has spacers welded in to clear the front cover. I inlarged the mounting bolts to 3/8". Iused the front cover to locate the hole positions. It clears a fuel pump.

I took a hurst mount and cut the ends off and reversed them so I would still be able to run a manual fuel pump. A8E57BA2-1DD7-425B-A54F-442783BCC787.jpeg

  14. Lot's of good examples here fellas. Mine sits on an early Chevell clip. If you buy an off the shelf adapter it often needs some help to get the job done. Cardboard patterns and a torch often is necessary.

I had the stock motormount and set it up as orginal.
It have a rubbermount under the waterpump to take the flexing from the engine.
And two mounts far apart under the gearbox to take the torque from the engine.
The reason Crysler corp did this was to apply the torque to the frame where it is strongest.
