1952-59 Ford 2 door sedan door window glass removal on a 56.

    Helping a friend remove side window gl*** for replacement. Any ez hints you guys have. I’ve never done it.. thanks.

    Try taking the regulator loose, then take the gl*** channel off of the regulator. I think thats the way I did it on the Club Coupe rear windows.

    Been a long time since I have done this (35+ years) but as I remember on my 56 Customline I removed the vent window complete with the front gl*** run. Some screws at the top of the door then a bolt at the bottom of the gl*** run. Then there was enough room to slide the side gl*** up and out by rotating it and lifting it out the top.     I have a 55 Ford car shop manual, it is a reproduction I ordered from the internet somewhere. On the back cover it says FORM 7098-55.

    I went through the CD I got from him and there was parts diagrams but didn't see actual R and R instructions. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place?

    danman55, once again the teacher in you comes out! Should have known! When I first saw this post my first impression was 1937 Ford vent window....... Mark
