I have installed a shock conversion kit on my 50 Prefect and the dimension from the lower mount to the top mount is 15" any idea on what length shock I should buy?

That seems to be way too tall for the normal currently available So-Cal type shock.
here is what Ch***is Engineering told me 9 years ago when they were still in business.

I might be long on my measurement more likely 14" and some other info I received said a compressed 9 1/2" shock is ok, wish the outfit in Australia was still around like all things modified it is a game.
    Thank you
